ConsulWealth (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides personal finance tools through our website at consulwealth.com and our mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use ConsulWealth, we may collect:

• Account information — email address, name, and authentication details when you create an account.
• Financial account data — when you connect a bank or investment account through Plaid, we receive account identifiers, balances, holdings, and transaction data that you authorize Plaid to share with us.
• Subscription and billing — subscription status and related billing metadata processed by Stripe (we do not store full payment card numbers).
• Profile and planning inputs — information you provide for budgeting, goals, and retirement planning.
• Usage and device data — app and site interactions, approximate device/browser information, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and improve the service.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve ConsulWealth features (including budgeting, portfolio views, and planning tools)
• Authenticate you and secure your account
• Process subscriptions and communicate about your account
• Sync and refresh connected financial data through our service providers
• Detect, prevent, and troubleshoot errors, fraud, or abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Service providers

We rely on trusted third parties to operate ConsulWealth, including:

• Supabase — authentication and application data storage
• Plaid — secure connection to financial institutions you choose to link
• Stripe — subscription payments (web)
• RevenueCat — in-app subscription status and purchase processing (mobile)
• Sentry — crash and error diagnostics (device and app metadata; not financial account balances or transaction details)
• PostHog — product usage analytics (feature and screen events; not financial account balances or transaction details)
• Cloud hosting providers — infrastructure that runs our website and APIs

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies and contractual obligations. When you connect a financial institution via Plaid, Plaid’s privacy practices also apply to data handled in that connection flow.

4. Data retention

We retain account and financial data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you disconnect a linked institution or request deletion, we will remove or de-identify associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain information for legal, security, or accounting purposes.

5. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and authenticated APIs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong password and protect your devices.

6. Your choices and rights

• You can update profile information in the app or web portal.
• You can disconnect linked financial accounts at any time.
• You can cancel your subscription through the billing flow associated with your account.
• You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting support@consulwealth.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. We will respond to verified requests in accordance with those laws.

7. Children

ConsulWealth is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of ConsulWealth after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
